The Best Iloilo City Tour (See The City At Night)

Perhaps one of the best tours I’ve experienced in my whole life was a city tour offered by a local in Iloilo. Together with some blogger friends and professional bikers, we saw the beauty of Iloilo at night.

We were out the whole day exploring Guimaras (blog post soon to follow!) and pretty tired to be honest, but we were determined to make the most of our quick stay in Iloilo before we head on to Boracay. Thus, we asked our Guimaras Guide, Kuya Waui, if anyone in the city offered a night city tour.

He told us he and his friends were more than willing to show us around if we were still up for it, and we said yes! So he borrowed some bicycles and we started the most tiring but best tour ever. I thought it wouldn’t be as fun because I wouldn’t be able to properly appreciate the sites, little did I know that it would turn out to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

We saw the city in a different light. It truly is a romantic city, and I miss it a lot. Here are some of my shots during the tour:

I miss the City of Love and the Coffee Break chain of coffee shops. Iloilo is a mix of culture, industrialization and religion. One of the best cities in the country. 🙂
