Luwag Native Seafood Grill Now Open In Gaisano Mactan

Another Filipino restaurant is ready to serve Cebuanos with delicious & affordable food! A week ago, I attended a food tasting event at Luwag Native Seafood Grill – a young restaurant that opened its arms to the public on June 28, 2015. It is situated in Gaisano Mactan Island Mall, a convenient place for Lapu-Lapu citizens who want to have an awesome dining experience.

In case you’re wondering what “Luwag” means, it is a term used by Cebuanos to pertain to a wooden ladle made from a cocunut shell commonly used in the province. This new food haven offers variety of Filipino food that highlights most of the Cebuano dishes such as the Linarang nga Isda, Native Chicken Tinola, Seafood Rice, among others and boasts of good customer service.

Luwag assures its guest of a trip down memory lane where they can reminisce the good old days especially with the native interior decorations.

“Luwag is a magical wand in disguise used by our moms to serve us good food. And suddenly this Luwag turned itself into a place to answer your cravings,” said Romel Pia, one of the owners of the restaurant.

  2. Nice photos. Just to mention…….. but you should name the images before uploading to your site so that it makes sense to google. The description on the lampshade pic is IMG_7805 . you are losing traffic by not using a real image name.
    Hope this helps you
