Gran Prix, The Better Choice

Around a month ago, I had the privilege to stay and enjoy the comfort of staying in one of Cebu’s most promising hotels, Gran Prix Hotels and Resorts. The one I stayed at is located at the heart of Cebu City‘s commercial and entertainment hub and is strategically located at the corner of F. Ramos St. & General Maxilom Avenue. If I would rate my stay there, it would be a 4/5. Here are some of the things I can share about this place:

– Affordable. Their suite rooms cost only P1,999/night while their regular or superior rooms cost P1, 399. If you are a family traveling to Cebu, you can get a room at P2, 999. The room is really huge, especially the family room. Your children will have enough space to rest, watch TV, and it even has it’s own dining table! Pretty neat for it’s price!

– New facilities. When I travel, I always want my room to be as cold as possible. I love Gran Prix because they have superior air conditioning system. My room was really cold when I came in. In fact, I had to put to the highest temperature possible so it wouldn’t be very cold. I also tried turning it off when I left for another event, and the room temperature dropped fast when I came back. They also have hot and cold showers, even for superior rooms; flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and a very accommodating staff.

– Convenient. The hotel is walking distance to Robinsons mall, restaurants, pharmacy, and a pasalubong center so it is pretty convenient. If you want to visit some of the tourist spots in Cebu, it is also a one jeep ride away. The tiring part when traveling is finding some pasalubong centers so I was happy to know that a pasalubong center is just around the corner.

– No room service. Sometimes, I tend to be so lazy in going to nearby restaurants so I rely on room service. Unfortunately, they do not have one available (they offer free breakfast though). But what are delivery numbers for, right? Also, as mentioned, they are very near to restaurants so this isn’t really that of a big deal.

All in all, I loved my stay and I definitely am recommending this to you all. Know that I never recommend unless I know and believe in the product. Thanks!
